Our team is led by veteran advertising and marketing pro Sandy McLean.  As Squawk’s senior officer and general manager, Sandy calls upon more than 50 years in the business knowing just what corporate clients are looking for to promote their product and services on-air.  He makes it his business to know your business in order to deliver the voice solution that gets attention.

Sandy’s experience includes sales, advertising and marketing assignments at Texaco, General Electric and J. Walter Thompson Advertising. He served as a V.P. Management supervisor at Young and Rubicam Advertising, working on such accounts as Borden’s, Proctor and Gamble, Gulf, Beechnut, Dr. Pepper and Clorox.  He opened a new Young and Rubicam office in San Francisco and served as director of new business for Young and Rubicam’s five western offices.

For several years, Sandy operated his own company, McLean-Stewart Advertising in San Francisco. After many successive years of growth, he sold his interest in McLean-Stewart and returned to the East Coast to represent BDS Marketing as Vice President. Later, he served as Executive VP of Specialty Video Marketing.

Before taking the helm at Squawk, Sandy worked for six years as an executive recruiter with International Executive Service Corp., performing overseas assignments at advertising agencies and newspapers in Sri Lanka, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey.

 He is a senior-level expert in all manner of commercial communications and marketing and knows intimately the operational and promotional needs of agencies, advertising, governmental offices and non-profit organizations.
